SUPRA is pleased to announce the release of the new team-inspired Pistol low top with a limited edition collaboration with legendary skateboard hard goods company, Deathwish.
The Pistol is a classically designed low top skate shoe built on a vulcanized sole. The low height of the silhouette, the short eye stay, and minimal composition allows maximum agility, and reduces weight. A durable vulcanized sole provides excellent traction and superior board feel.
The black and red color story of the Deathwish Pistol is complemented by designs inspired by motorcycle clubs. It’s made of black waxed-suede and black distressed-leather and it’s built on a red vulcanized sole with white foxing and a red pinstripe. Other features include a SUPRA/Deathwish patch on a leather tongue, screened Deathwish logo on the heel, “DEATH” and “WISH” heel tabs, red anodized top eyelet, black waxed laces, red mesh lining, and custom Deathwish sock liner art (featuring Erik Ellington and Jim Greco).
Nike SB has joined the streetwear and cultural roundtables with a new February release, the “McRad” edition of the Dunk High Pro. Celebrating Black History Month through the lens of one of the better ’80s hardcore bands, the “McRad” features a black, white, and green upper, accented with yellow and red detailing throughout. Those unfamiliar with McRad may be interested to know that lead singer Chuck Treece (whose likeness is printed on the insole) was one of the first African-Americans to grace the cover of Thrasher Magazine. Expect the same premium materials, including the comfortable Zoom Air insole for superior protection, as standard on this release. Weaving together skateboarding, punk music, and art, Nike SB’s “McRad” is one of the more notable Black History Month products in recent memory. The “McRad” will be available @ 10:00 tomorrow only at Fast Forward San Antonio.5 Photos
